Overview
Mgr III A-Brands Sourcing at Ahold Delhaize USA. This role focuses on Center Store sourcing, vendor/portfolio management, and delivering corporate-wide Center Store goals on COGs, savings, budget, planning and execution.
Responsibilities
Develop sourcing strategies and tactics in conjunction with Great Local Brands to leverage size and scale for delivering optimal financial results (S4OC, ECE, etc.).
Manage period/quarterly financial reporting on suppliers and Brands within the assigned portfolio; identify opportunities and develop action plans.
Ensure the team develops communications and materials (e.g., category briefs, playbooks) to support leadership engagement across ADUSA with key CPGs.
Support negotiations across the assigned portfolio through data and process development and enhancements.
Act as point-person for escalation across all Great Local Brands for key issues (e.g., cost increases, reclaim changes).
Lead and develop the team (training/development), building consensus and driving alignment across leadership throughout RBS and ADUSA; build sourcing capabilities through execution of team strategies.
Foster a sense of purpose and ongoing conversations connecting individual and team purpose across functions.
Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs while upholding company values.
Qualifications
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Experience in Sourcing, Negotiation, Project Management/Facilitation, Change Management (Master's degree preferred).
10+ years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & vendor management experience.
4+ years demonstrated success leading people/teams.
Strong financial acumen (P&L), ability to leverage syndicated/internal data, and experience educating others on these topics.
Proven ability to influence without authority and engage senior leadership.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
Facilitation skills across multiple media and group sizes (5-25).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, DSS, and IDW; ability to interpret syndicated data (e.g., IRI) to drive insights; experience with self-distribution and C&S environments.
Conflict management skills and knowledge of the industry and suppliers.
Salary ranges vary by location: ME/NC/PA/SC: $120,960 - $181,440; IL/MA/MD: $139,120 - $208,680. This position may be eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance.
