Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager, PMO is expected to build a trusted relationship with functional leadership, IT leadership, and all project stakeholders and team members. The ideal candidate has experience with eCommerce operations, understanding the nuance of effectively driving outcomes and building trusted relationships in a global business model. The ideal candidate is also an expert at professionally encouraging movement past roadblocks and inspiring project team members to deliver their best work. Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise eCommerce and fulfillment projects, coordinating efforts with PMO leadership, implementation partners, and other project workstreams. Develop and maintain project plans, identify and manage risks, manage resource allocations, and report on resource allocation issues across functional areas to keep projects on time, in scope, and within budget. Effectively take notes, document decisions, outcomes, and risks. Drive requirements gathering and design sessions, workstream meetings, and other project meetings; proactively follow up on outcomes. Participate in the creation of a standardized PMO framework and governance model. Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and deliverables. Monitor and report on project progress, status, and performance. Partner with business leaders to create robust business cases with quantifiable benefits/ROI. Evangelize the value of effective project management by mentoring and guiding team members on the PMO framework and governance model. Required: Experience leading enterprise-scale eCommerce and fulfillment projects with multi-million-dollar budgets, global stakeholders, and complex integrations. Hands-on formal project management: establish scope, create artifacts, develop detailed plans, lead from initiation through closing, manage issues and risks, and maintain proactive communication cadence. Functional experience with eCommerce Operations concepts and business processes. Strong analytical skills to quickly analyze information, identify gaps, and make informed recommendations. Project budget and financial management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels. Ability to listen, execute, and professionally challenge assumptions and highlight risks. Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations and gain alignment across diverse stakeholders. Proven indirect leadership skills in a high-performing, fast-paced environment: willingness to lead and contribute. Experience with industry-standard project and product management tools. CAPM, PMP, Agile Scrum Master or other relevant certification/experience preferred. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organization and ability to multi-task. Ability to influence without direct-line authority. Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred. Experience with Lucidchart, Visio, or other process flow applications preferred. Experience with Project and Program Management (PPM) tools, such as Asana, preferred. Experience Requirements
8+ years’ experience as a project manager, functional lead, or subject matter expert specifically leading projects related to implementing, upgrading, and supporting eCommerce Operations. Experience managing both website initiatives (front-end, UX, cart, checkout, payments) and fulfillment/operations technology (OMS, WMS, last-mile logistics) is preferred. Education Requirements
