Develop new bank business relationships primarily through lending to small businesses and small real estate investors (loan maximums: $1M for C&I loans and $1.5M for real estate loans). Grow commercial deposits and cross-sell banking products and services. Partner with Branch Managers, Credit Risk, Portfolio Managers, and Loan Processors to execute customized financial solutions and manage the overall sales process. Onboard, manage and grow the loan portfolio as defined above. Work with the Loan Administrator to manage the portfolio, including line of credit renewals, term loan resets, past due payments, and loan servicing issues. Assess, review, and analyze financial information to determine lending needs; understand cash flow and the small business operating cycle and how products and services support the portfolio. Develop and implement customer referral strategies to increase client satisfaction and portfolio growth for business customers. Arrange meetings between customers or prospects and appropriate bank representatives; negotiate credit terms and collateral specifications. Provide superior sales and service to Small Business Banking customers and prospect base; identify financial solutions to support retention, growth, and profitability. Conduct needs-based sales presentations; guide customers to make informed financial decisions. Ensure consistent approach on segment-related deals by previewing deals to address credit concerns and facilitate deal flow. Review loan documents for accuracy prior to closing and properly file or forward documents according to procedures. Represent the bank in civic and community functions to enhance its image and develop new business. Qualifications

BS in Business Administration, Finance (preferred). Five to seven years of banking and/or sales experience in a related environment. Three to five years of commercial lending business development sales. Thorough knowledge of banking products and services; proficiency with software/systems used between departments, specifically Salesforce and VIKAR; and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication, credit, sales, and public relations skills; self-starter capable of developing new business. Physical and sensory requirements
