Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Senior Manufacturing Engineer A leading provider in the design and production of high-performance materials for modern, mission-critical electronics. Position Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of specialized laminate and foil processes. They will design, implement, and optimize procedures and equipment used in production operations. Key Responsibilities
Continuously improve existing manufacturing systems and equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collect and analyze production data using statistical methods to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions. Conduct product and material testing for internal teams and customers, including coordination with external testing services. Provide quality assurance guidance throughout manufacturing and testing to ensure compliance with standards. Support the Quality department in 8D reporting, Root Cause, and Corrective Action investigations. Create and maintain production records, SOPs, and testing reports. Lead improvement initiatives involving manufacturing equipment (hardware/software). Evaluate and implement safety-focused processes to reduce risks and enhance workplace safety. Provide technical expertise and support for specialized etch and laminate processes. Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with IPC Quality Standards and MIL Testing Standards Familiarity with CAM350 or similar MCAD/ECAD tools SolidWorks (3D Modeling) Skills
Strong analytical and technical mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project management capability Proficiency with IT systems and software Hardware familiarity (power tools, soldering iron, DAQs, power supplies, testing equipment) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, or similar tools Seniority level
