Accelsius Interested in getting in at the ground floor of a new, disruptive company attacking an important multi-billion-dollar problem? Businesses and consumers continue to demand increasing data services at an exponential rate—streaming, deep learning, analytics, IoT connectivity, and more. What this means is higher-performing CPUs, components, servers, and ultimately data and edge computing centers, all generating excessive heat that is increasingly difficult to manage with traditional cooling systems.

Accelsius is developing revolutionary direct-to-chip, 2-phase cooling technologies that empower and enable Server OEMs, Data Centers, Edge Computing Operators, and 5G Edge deployments to meet performance, sustainability, scale, and cost goals while serving this high-growth market for data services.

We are looking for a Regulatory Engineer to establish and lead our regulatory compliance efforts across product development and global markets. This position will report directly to the Chief Technology and Product Officer and requires a collaborative, detail-oriented engineer who can interpret evolving compliance standards, proactively address regulatory requirements, and enable rapid product launch cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to build a function from the ground up.

Role Responsibilities

Define and execute a regulatory compliance strategy for Accelsius’s liquid cooling systems across North America, Europe, and Asia. Identify applicable standards and certifications (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, FCC) and ensure timely testing, documentation, and registration. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams during early-stage design to embed compliance requirements. Manage external test labs and certification partners to complete regulatory testing and submissions. Maintain and organize technical files, declarations of conformity, and compliance documentation. Monitor global regulatory developments, assess product impacts, and implement necessary design or documentation changes. Support customer audits, due diligence processes, and compliance questionnaires. Serve as internal subject matter expert on product safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), environmental compliance, and related topics.

Qualifications For This Role Include

5–8 years of experience in regulatory engineering, compliance engineering, or similar technical role, ideally with increasing responsibility. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); Master’s preferred. Deep understanding of product safety and environmental compliance requirements for electronic or electromechanical systems. Experience with CE marking, UL/IEC/EN standards, and environmental directives such as RoHS and REACH. Familiarity with electronics cooling, thermal systems, or fluid-handling systems is a plus. Startup experience or experience operating with limited existing systems or precedent. Strong communication and documentation skills. A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on practical solutions.

Key Cultural Principles

Self-directed, collaborative, systems thinker, detail-oriented, and customer-obsessed. Must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and building scalable processes from scratch.

Accelsius offers a competitive salary with equity, a full range of benefits including medical and dental, 401K, and unlimited PTO.
