We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Commercial General Contracting (GC) and proven expertise managing Higher Education construction projects (college and university campuses). The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of project management experience in Dallas and a track record of delivering complex educational facilities on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of college campus construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors with full accountability. Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution. Oversee field operations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with specifications. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Develop and maintain strong relationships with higher education clients and stakeholders. Anticipate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure projects meet client expectations. Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial ground-up construction, specifically in Higher Education (college campus projects). Proven background with a Commercial General Contractor (GC). Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relations skills. Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Seniority level
