Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect with a deep understanding of modern architecture principles to design secure, scalable solutions and assess emerging technologies. The role focuses on aligning security controls with enterprise standards and integrating risk-based security into business and IT initiatives. Job Type:

Hybrid in Arlington, TX or Irving, TX

(relocation incentive available) No Corp to Corp or 3rd party agencies. Responsibilities: Define, validate, and communicate security architecture standards and requirements across cloud and on-premise environments. Assess proposed technical solutions, identify risk, and recommend compensating controls to ensure alignment with enterprise security objectives. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to influence secure design decisions and promote shared accountability for cybersecurity. Contribute to the delivery of security architecture components within multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives. Maintain current knowledge of threat trends, security technologies, and architectural best practices to inform decision-making. Skills and Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years specifically in cybersecurity architecture. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS preferred, Azure accepted), identity and access management, application and data security, and enterprise risk assessment. Ability to assess architectural gaps and propose practical solutions aligned with acceptable risk levels. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks within highly regulated environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Certifications such as CISSP or CCSP preferred Experience with Kubernetes is a plus. Seniority level
