Depends on Experience Responsibilities
Analyze process data from multiple global sites to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. Develop and maintain standardized data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support global visibility and decision-making. Collaborate with site engineering and operations teams to ensure consistent data collection, tagging, and contextualization practices. Support root cause investigations by providing detailed data analysis and visualizations. Align process data with key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and support strategic initiatives. Work with automation and IT teams to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and secure data access across sites. Document data flows, analysis methodologies, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and consistency. Provide training and support to site personnel on data interpretation and analytical tools. Contribute to the evolution of the company’s digital manufacturing strategy by identifying new opportunities for data utilization. Travel up to 5–10% to support cross-site collaboration, training, and troubleshooting. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Automation, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in process data analysis, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems. Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting complex process data and generating actionable insights. Familiarity with wire extrusion or similar continuous manufacturing processes is a plus. Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL). Experience with industrial data platforms, historians, and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT). Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and time zones. Working knowledge of SCADA or MES platforms is beneficial but not required. Willingness to travel internationally to support global operations and projects.
