Transportation Design Engineer
to join our team in Midtown St. Louis and contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects that improve lives and shape the future. Design highways, local roads, parking lots, traffic signals, and lighting systems Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and design studies Develop concept plans, grant applications, and technical reports Provide design support during construction and review engineering drawings Collaborate with clients, construction teams, and internal stakeholders Assist in developing project proposals, scopes, schedules, and staffing estimates Requirements
What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a transportation emphasis Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) 5–10+ years of transportation design experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MicroStation Familiarity with AutoCAD, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, Civil3D, ArcInfo, or Microsoft Project is a plus Knowledge of MoDOT, IDOT, and IL Tollway standards is highly desirable Who You Are
