Korn Ferry partnered with our client to recruit a Field Service Technician in Dallas, TX. This is a rapidly growing organization with nationwide locations and opportunities for career growth through on-site, factory-approved training and classroom training. The role is 90% field-based with real-time troubleshooting and local travel; home nightly. Base pay range : $24.00/hr - $30.00/hr Compensation : + OT, potential $2,000 quarterly bonus ($8K/year), + quarterly safety bonus, company vehicle, gas card, and a $2,500 interest-free tool loan. Required experience : This client is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of experience in the US military with a Mechanical/Electrical MOS. What you will do
Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment. Perform maintenance on newer battery-powered equipment, as well as traditional diesel and gasoline industrial machinery; conduct diagnostics to identify equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot issues. Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals related to forklifts and other various construction equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections; address any issues as needed. Communicate repair needs, provide estimates, and explain completed work to customers. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism at all times. Maintain a clean and professional service van; report maintenance needs promptly. Education and work experience
Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (Mechanical/Electrical MOS required). Strong knowledge of machine diagnostics, schematics, and technical drawings required. Electrical candidates highly preferred (120-480V). Personable and professional demeanor, excellent customer service acumen. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Availability to work overtime, including occasional emergency service or weekend callouts. Technical Q&A (will discuss diagnostics, schematics, repairs). Soft skills assessment (clear communication, professionalism). Facility tour. Role details
