Overview
AECOM is seeking a Water Resources Graduate Engineer to be based in Middleton, Wisconsin. This position is expected to begin in May or June 2026. Responsibilities
Apply proven experience to the planning and design of water resources projects including H&H modeling and floodplain mapping, stormwater quality modeling, flood control projects, stormwater treatment, site development, and transportation-related drainage design. Provide engineering review of stormwater and erosion control plans. Develop scopes of work and budgets for water resources projects or for water resources components of larger projects. Prepare permit applications and pursue approval. Develop and formulate cost-effective, technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects. Prepare construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, correspondence, and reports. Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards. Collaborate with other groups across AECOM offices. Field work may be required on an occasional basis to support land surveyor and construction engineers. Minimum Requirements
BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field; may have none or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. US Citizenship required due to the nature of work. Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM. Additional Information
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is USD 60,000 - USD 80,000 per year.
