Overview
Ascentec Engineering LLC is growing and it's an exciting time to join our team! We are looking for Assembly Technicians who can perform well, think critically, operate as part of a team, and have experience with precision machined parts. This role involves assembling low volume, high complexity, and high sensitivity components used globally.
Responsibilities
Threaded insert installation, part making, small parts assembly using screws, bolts and rivets
Electrical crimping, epoxy and sealant work
Assemble low volume, high complexity and high sensitivity components
Utilize basic measuring equipment and read work instructions, customer specifications, blueprints and drawings
Shift Availability
Day Shift – Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Swing Shift – Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. (shift differential applies)
Requirements
Experience with precision machined parts, assembly, cleaning, deburr, sanding, and related processes
Understanding of basic installation processes for hardware (screws, washers, dowel pins, etc.)
Proficient with power and hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle with care and precision
Fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
Ability to read and follow work instructions and customer specifications
Experience with glues, epoxies and adhesives is a plus
Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, tape measures, gauge pins)
Computer experience required; ability to log time against jobs in the company MES software
Experience installing Heli Coils is a plus
Clean room assembly experience is a plus
Experience with aerospace assembly techniques (match drilling, clecos, riveting) is a plus
Preference given to candidates with prior machine shop experience

Compensation & Benefits
$18 to $26 per hour DOE and shift
