Sheetmetal Assembly Technician is responsible for the assemblies of sheet metal and machined aluminum parts per Customer’s engineering drawings and specifications. EXPERIENCE : Minimum two years’ experience in an aerospace setting Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings REQUIREMENTS : Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed Ability to read, write and understand English Proficient in blue print reading Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, with the ability to calibrate new tools Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision Strong communication and problem solving skills Detail oriented Capable of mixing sealers and weigh sealers on scales RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform visual inspection of manufactured parts and traveler Verify parts, rivets and assembly procedures to traveler Confirm material specifications as given on traveler Assemble to IAW Engineering Drawings and special notes Able to use equipment designed to perform assemblies Verify accuracy of job and workmanship when performing jobs Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality Miscellaneous tasks as assigned Sheetmetal Assembly Technician is responsible for the assemblies of sheet metal and machined aluminum parts per Customer’s engineering drawings and specifications. Hours: First Shift: Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. *Second Shift: Mon. - Thurs., 3 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. (three openings) Weekend Shift: Thurs. - Sun., 4 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Compensation:
