Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide systems level support in EMC/EMI for NASA Spaceflight Programs, including EMC analysis, test planning, circuit test, and data evaluation.
Evaluate test data and EMI/EMI, electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring waivers.
Prepare progress reports, schedules, design reviews, and team meeting documentation.
Support design reviews and team meetings with clear, concise communication.
Qualifications
Degree from an ABET‑accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Ph.D. preferred with 14+ years experience, or M.S. with 18+ years, or B.S. with 20+ years experience.
Experience in EMC analysis, test planning, procedures, and critical circuit test and analysis related to space or flight hardware and systems.
Proficiency with MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑462, PC, and appropriate software programs.
Experience with ISS hardware and payloads is a plus.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
Physical Requirements
Requires sitting for extended periods in meetings (10%) and desk work (40%).
Travel within the U.S. ( Ability to use stairs or elevators and operate general office equipment (100%).
Compensation 120,000 – 130,000 Yearly Salary
