is looking for an
Aeronautical Engineer
to support analysis, design, or testing of one or more moderately complex or portions of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems of company products.
Location:
Chandler, AZ 85286 (Onsite)
Position:
Aeronautical Engineer
Pay Rate:
$60.38/hr on W2 (DOE)
Duration:
12 months or longer
Schedule:
9x80 A
Shifts:
1st Shift
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support analysis, design, or testing of complex materials, structural components, or functional systems.
Analyze requirements and select applicable data from previous products.
Mathematically define problems and compute engineering characteristics consistent with specifications and design needs.
Release results as design data after review by a higher graded engineer.
Develop original ideas and elaborate on preliminary design concepts.
Evaluate completed designs with supervisor and other technical groups and modify as necessary.
Develop and coordinate the conduct of test programs to evaluate design work.
Use advanced structural and product design engineering software tools; solid knowledge of GD&T principles.
Perform research and develop test programs as needed to evaluate system elements.
Manage test activity documentation and determine engineering tasks required for project planning and execution.
Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters.
Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, and/or test activities to support assigned projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
US citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of mechanical design, structural analysis hand calculations, and tolerance analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
Past experience with integration and hardware assembly builds.
