Position Overview
My client is seeking an experienced
Electrical Supervisor
to lead and develop a team of skilled electricians and technicians in a heavy industrial environment. The Electrical Supervisor will oversee daily electrical maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive reliability improvements across plant operations. This leadership role requires a strong technical background in industrial electrical systems combined with proven team management skills. Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and direct a team of electricians and electrical technicians on the day shift. Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems, equipment, and controls. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with
OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and plant standards . Provide technical support and troubleshooting for
480V–15kV systems, motors, drives, MCCs, PLCs, VFDs, and automation equipment . Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Train, mentor, and develop electrical team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist in planning and executing electrical projects, upgrades, and shutdowns. Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, PMs, and electrical system updates in the CMMS. Recommend process improvements, energy efficiency opportunities, and reliability initiatives. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). 5+ years
of industrial electrical experience in heavy manufacturing, with at least
2 years in a supervisory or lead role . Strong knowledge of
industrial power distribution, motors, drives, and controls . Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems a plus. Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage a technical team. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Why Join
