Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Job Summary
You will be tasked with conceptual design, component specification, system hardware design, and programming. Manage high-level projects from concept to production. Work closely with other engineers and technical staff. Responsibilities also include providing engineering support for field service technicians and delivering technical training at client facilities as needed. Support existing products within current methods and standards. Up to 20% domestic travel may be required; international travel is a possibility. Skills and Skills

Apply principles of electrical and electronic theory to design, program, and troubleshoot advanced packaging machinery. Develop and test new designs; develop high-speed automation packaging projects. Manage projects from inception to completion. Design complete electrical systems from concept through to prototype and production. Read and troubleshoot ladder logic within motion controls, including programming servo drives (AB). Demonstrate problem-solving skills and teamwork. Travel to customer sites for software or hardware repairs or installations (~20%). Create wiring schematics, program diagrams, and bills of materials. Maintain strong communication skills. Work well independently and in teams. Manage time effectively. Pay attention to detail and pride in work. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in capital equipment design and service. 7-10 years of high-speed automation and electrical design experience. Proficiency in CAD software for electrical documentation (SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, or similar). Experience designing systems with Stepper motors, Servos, and touch screens; packaging industry experience is a plus. Excellent knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and project management skills; proficiency in MS Office. Valid driver's license and ability to travel (~20%), including internationally. Additional Information
Experience in the packaging industry is highly advantageous. Final interview will be in person; travel expenses covered by the client, excluding mileage reimbursement for driving. Seniority level
