Osborn Engineering is seeking a
Senior Structural Restoration Engineer
with 15+ years of experience to join our team. This position reports to the Manager of Structural Engineering and will work out of our Detroit office. Structural Engineers work closely with directors, managers, and staff to meet and exceed client expectations efficiently. Osborn is a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary design firm employing a specialized team approach. Our team of over 300 professionals provides comprehensive designs across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, technology, transportation, and commissioning projects. Design of public and private development projects. Preparation of drawings and specifications. Conduct assessments and prepare reports. Develop construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications. Work on concrete, steel, wood, and light-gage designs. Collaborate with architectural and MEP project teams. Interact directly with facility owners. Attend meetings with clients, authorities, and professionals. Manage projects effectively. Review designs for quality assurance and control. Job Requirements and Qualifications
BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field. PE/SE license preferred. 15+ years of structural design experience. Experience with structural analysis software. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred. Experience designing various building types, both architectural and industrial. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical skills. Strong work ethic and industry knowledge. Additional Characteristics
