We’re looking for a
Water Resources Project Engineer
to join a growing municipal engineering team in Nashville. This hybrid role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects while developing your career in municipal engineering. What you’ll do: Lead design, development, and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and stormwater systems Prepare and review engineering designs, construction documents, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Conduct field assessments, site inspections, and evaluations of existing infrastructure Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns, fostering professional growth Support project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with clients, municipalities, sub-consultants, and contractors Assist with business development, proposals, and client presentations Who we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 5+ years of municipal engineering experience in water resources EIT certification required; TN PE preferred Experience with roadway geometric design, water main, sanitary sewer, and drainage design Skilled in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and familiar with utility coordination Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills Why this role?
