Overview
Our client, a well-established firm with a strong presence across Texas, is seeking a Superintendent to join their Dallas office. The company delivers a diverse range of ground-up and renovation projects across Industrial, Retail, Grocery, Hospitality, and Healthcare sectors, known for their quality craftsmanship, repeat business, and team-focused culture. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Elsdon Group Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities from project start to closeout. Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term schedules, coordinating daily and weekly plans with the project team. Lead on-site safety meetings and enforce company and OSHA safety standards at all times. Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality control, progress, and compliance with project drawings and specifications. Manage materials, equipment, and logistics to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions. Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness. Coordinate inspections with local authorities and third-party agencies. Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field engineers to build strong project teams. Prepare daily reports, track project documentation, and maintain as-built records. Ensure timely project turnover and participate in project closeout and punch list activities. Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on Industrial, Retail, Grocery, Hospitality, or Healthcare projects. Strong tenure with previous employers — stability and long-term commitment are highly valued. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
