Engineer - Facilities - Full Time (Flamingo LV) This role reports to the Facilities Manager, Shift Supervisor or lead engineer and requires performing repairs to maintain property operation, responding to guest issues promptly, and executing preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations. Responsibilities

Operate and repair all water heaters, pumps and plumbing; install new equipment and systems as directed. Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacement of parts for preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and accurate data recording. Continually assess and adjust the preventative maintenance schedule to maximize reliability, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency. Maintain familiarity with applicable Local, State, NEC, and standard codes as they apply. Provide training to less-experienced personnel on building electrical equipment and systems. Maintain tools and maintenance equipment; adhere to all rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Assume responsibility for timely, accurate work completion and positive working relationships with internal guests. Secondary Responsibilities

Interact with outside contractors and vendors as required. Formulate Bill of Materials to accomplish tasks. Prepare to assume job assignments by ensuring necessary equipment, parts, and materials are available and tasks can be performed efficiently and safely. Demonstrate understanding of Team SOPs and organizational policies, procedures, and practices. Show willingness and ability to perform in leadership roles; solve problems with appropriate supervisory guidance. Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the organization and its guests. Understand the mission and operation of the organization and Engineering’s role within it. Maintain a positive teamwork ethic and complete work timely, accurately, and efficiently. Qualifications

Journeyman Engineer proficient in listed engineering disciplines: Plumbing - soft soldering, sil-phos brazing, pipe threading, estimating, layout and fabrication; cast iron pipe; steam and condensate systems. Welding - steel, stainless steel, aluminum. Electrical - low and high voltage, conduit, troubleshooting. Refrigeration - low, medium and high temperature, central and remote systems. Central Plant - chillers, pumps, air compressors and controls. Boiler Plant - steam and hot water production, pumps and controls. Maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment; working knowledge of Stero, Garland, Cleveland, Gore, Hobart, Cutler and Blodgett kitchen equipment. Education

Completion and proof of technical training (QE-Qualified Employee), basic plumbing knowledge, boiler operator license, Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience, basic electricity. Experience

Field experience – 2 years; Commercial experience – 1.5 years; work experience on low voltage systems; repair of kitchen equipment. Abilities

Basic computer literacy with ability to input and gather data. Ability to work in all climates and conditions including confined and dusty areas. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications. Able to lift 75 lbs. Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. Communicates effectively with two-way radio. Possess a valid Nevada driver’s license. Disclaimer
