In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Function as a
technical specialist or in a lead substation design role
encompassing EHV transmission level voltage class. Develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to complex engineering problems. Provide technical guidance over a group or supervise engineering staff on substation design projects. Develop, validate, and present specialist/technical output. Lead other engineers and interface directly with clients. Be responsible for the overall execution and quality of substation projects as a leader within a team environment. This is a

opportunity in
Overland Park, KS . Flexible hybrid expectations allow three in-office days and two flex/remote days per week. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), including background checks and drug screening. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain budgets and schedules for multiple substation design projects. Perform EHV substation design, including physical design, protective relaying/control. Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes. Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects. Interface directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Certifications
Professional registration or licensure is typically required depending on the nature of work performed. Salary Plan
