Responsible to drive initiatives and support processes impacting multiple Fresh Departments. This includes (1) designing & facilitating an organized and collaborative process for financial tracking and validation, (2) driving data-rich discovery efforts in support of Fresh Sourcing Events, (3) leading functional training preparation and delivery, and (4) leading/supporting Fresh assortment and spec harmonization efforts.
Work Schedule Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD, Chicago, IL.
Essential Job Functions
Perform the following responsibilities with limited supervision/oversight from Manager
Develop & execute robust ways of working among Fresh Category, Suppliers, and Fresh Sourcing to leverage size and scale to optimize costs
Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and hold stakeholders accountable to due dates and deliverables
Drive data-rich discovery to develop a playbook in support of planned Sourcing events. Data sources include (but not limited to) Circana, Range Me, category trends, brand strategy, payment terms, sustainable packaging opportunity, etc. The information should optimally inform the sourcing event and allow the Sourcing teams to accelerate event timing and duration while optimizing outcomes
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual reports that communicate key sourcing metrics, project updates, and performance trends
Prepare & deliver functional training both within Fresh Sourcing and on Fresh Sourcing topics for other areas such as Category
Drive process improvements and standardization while creating training materials and SOPs to ensure consistent adoption and governance compliance
Lead / Support Fresh assortment and spec harmonization effort
Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
4+ years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & vendor management experience (preferred)
Proven financial acumen (P&L management), demonstrated experience in understanding & interpreting commodity markets
Demonstrated experience with influencing others without authority - specifically with elevated levels within an organization
Sourcing, Negotiation
Project Management/Facilitation
Change Management
Demonstrated presentation skills (both developing the story & delivering it)
Demonstrated facilitation skills over multiple media types (video conferences, TEAMS, Skype, conference calls, in-person meetings, etc.) with varying size groups (typically 5-25)
Mastery of Microsoft suite
Strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written)
Proven ability to interpret and react to syndicated data reports (e.g. IRI, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools
Demonstrated conflict management skills & enhanced knowledge of industry and suppliers
Salary Range ME/NC/PA/SC: $75,040 - $112,560
IL/MA/MD: $86,320 - $129,480
