Procurement Specialist, Global Network Delivery (GND). AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Ensuring operations procurement compliance Documenting operations scope and processes Become a subject matter expert on all systems and policies related to team programs Manage PR queues and intake workflows PO processes and resolving systems related issues Minimize invoice approval escalations and holds Team context
About The Team: As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be supporting procurement for data center cabling installation category. Global Network Deployment (GND) Procurement team supports Network Deployment in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs. The Procurement Support team handles purchase requests and purchase orders, resolving invoice management and escalations, aligned with AWS’ Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP), and all follow-on activities with Requisitioning and Payment Operations. Basic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience 1+ years of supply chain experience Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering Please submit your resume in English. To develop strategies for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function. Adhering to company policies and legal regulations throughout the procurement process. Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information. Compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this position is $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $93,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and experience. This position may include other forms of compensation such as equity or sign-on, as part of a total compensation package.
