Under the general direction of the Chief Psychiatrist, the Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor is responsible for functional supervision of mental health program professions in the CCCMS, EOP, SNY/EOP and Mental Health Crisis Bed (MHCB). Other responsibilities include adherence to applicable bargaining unit terms, participation in the California Model reform efforts to improve workplace conditions, and collaboration with health care partners and communities to promote rehabilitation and reintegration goals. Pay and Benefits
This classification is subject to HAM (Hiring-Above-Minimum) authorization. The authorized HAM rate for this classification is $31,320. Potential recruitment and retention bonuses may be available for clinicians newly hired with CCHCS, including a $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend and a total of $5,000 in monthly differential during the first year, subject to eligibility. Pay differentials exist for direct patient care roles, with percentages of base pay depending on location and assignment. Inclusion of a $5,000 referral bonus may apply for CDCR/CCHCS employees who remain employed for a qualifying period. Hiring Process and Requirements
