Effective July 1, 2025, PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit BU16 and related Excluded/Exempt employees to have their base salary reduced by 4.62 percent and receive 8 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part-time and permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same conditions prorated to time-base. Under the general direction of the Chief Psychiatrist, the Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor is responsible for functional supervision of mental health program professions in the CCCMS, EOP, SNY/EOP and Mental Health Crisis Bed (MHCB). The recruitment may be used to fill positions in Medical, Dental, and/or Mental Health Units in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting. Recruitment and retention bonuses may be available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services. Additional pay benefits individuals may be eligible for include: HAM rate for this classification and related authorization information. Possible $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend for eligible hires, plus up to $5,000 monthly differential during first year if eligible. Pay differentials related to direct patient care (various dates and percentages as described).
