Replaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repair dimmers, refrigeration controls and contacts. Ability to use volt, ohm meter and read electrical schematics. Ability to wire motors and motor controls. Fabricates office partitions, doors, cornices, counters, panel walls and ceilings. Performances all maintenance necessary to keep all locks and locking devices in functional and safe operating condition. Installs, connects and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, various gases, steam and other pressure systems. Performs water-testing treatment for boilers and chillers. Perform preventative maintenance work orders according to the schedule and plan. Complete and submit paperwork in a timely manner, so that the CMMS can be properly updated, Taking ownership of inventory and ordering of spare parts and materials in a timely manner.

Overview

Responsibilities

5 years of journey-level experience Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to get along with co-workers and develop team work. Must present a well-groomed appearance. High school diploma or equivalency certificate is required, five or more years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Preferred Universal CFC certification as well as city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s) as needed. Must possess a valid driver’s license. EPA certification (for refrigerant handling)

Qualifications

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
