Job Description
Responsible for designing electrical power distribution network for the auxiliary equipment of our Gas Turbine projects. Our voltage levels are primarily in the low-voltage side (600V and below) with implementation of equipment such as MCCs, Panelboards, LV Transformers, DC Systems and Batteries. Responsibilities
Perform calculations, sizing of equipment (i.e.: breakers, overload devices, etc.), sizing of cables/conduits/equipment spacing, illumination level calculations, maintaining bill of materials, and other design duties required by complexity of project. Support electrical equipment specification (Motor Controls Centers, Power Supplies, DC systems). Interface with other disciplines to validate and support power plant design. Support technical inquiries from customers, vendors and field personnel. Use SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) for electrical equipment deliverables production.
