Martinelli Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimating Specialist to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential plumbing projects. This role is essential in supporting our growing business by ensuring bids are precise, timely, and aligned with project goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong background in plumbing systems and construction estimating. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to evaluate labor, materials, and timelines, ultimately helping us deliver successful projects that reflect our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates. Accurately calculate labor, material, and equipment costs for plumbing systems. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids. Work closely with project managers and leadership to develop competitive bids and proposals. Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and supporting documents. Track and analyze completed projects for cost performance and process improvements. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and company policies in all estimates. Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of plumbing estimating experience (commercial and/or residential). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal staff. Background in plumbing fieldwork (journeyman, foreman, or similar) preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Compensation & Benefits
