Overview We are looking for a talented Project Manager to support and lead the delivery of numerous projects in WSP Planning, Property & Advisory. At WSP, we empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed today and into tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of the project team

Manage project controls through WSP and client systems

Interface with the client team to determine expectations and act as a trusted advisor

Review and advise on the contract scope and discuss with the project delivery team

Manage the interface between the Client and WSP

Manage reporting and cost controls in collaboration with the Technical Manager

Forecast cost to complete reporting to client and internally using relevant tools

Deliver risk workshops where appropriate

Ensure the team can fulfil the monthly forecast hours in line with the programme

Undertake scheduling in collaboration with the Technical Manager

Develop KPIs for project reporting

Ensure quality procedures are adhered to through coordination with lead references and the Technical Manager

Set up regular internal and external progress meetings in collaboration with the Client PM

Identify efficiencies to add value for the client

Ensure sufficient resources to meet programme demand in collaboration with the office team leader and GIS/PinPoint leads

Manage a delivery team of land referencers, GIS Technicians and data managers

Have working knowledge of DCO, CPO or hybrid Bill processes to support technical delivery

Support the development and delivery of bids for future opportunities

Qualifications

Membership of a Professional Institution

APM PMQ, Prince2 or similar Project Management qualification

Ability to interrogate, question and challenge information

Ability to coordinate the submission of accurate reports to predetermined deadlines

Understanding of project management, project controls and procedures normally associated with a major integrated infrastructure project

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Project (or Primavera P6)

Experience in commercial contract/ project management

Experience managing internal teams and interfacing with client organisations

Experience

Demonstrable project management experience

Experience within regulated industries

Experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging with engineering disciplines

Understanding and experience of NEC contracts
