We are seeking an experienced
Project Controls Manager
with a strong background in LNG and Combined Cycle projects. In this contract role, you will oversee project controls functions across cost, scheduling, and risk management to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and milestones. You will work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to drive project performance, compliance, and reporting accuracy. This role will be based out of the home office with
2–3 days per week in-office
and minimal travel to project sites. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and management of cost control, scheduling, and risk management strategies for capital projects. Apply the
Stage Gate process
to ensure deliverables are complete and compliant prior to moving projects forward. Develop and maintain schedules in
Primavera P6 ; oversee progress updates, critical path analysis, and forecasting. Manage integration between cost control, schedule, and risk to provide comprehensive project performance analysis. Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to project managers, leadership, and client stakeholders. Collaborate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to monitor performance and implement corrective actions. Facilitate risk workshops, change order reviews, and contingency planning processes. Ensure alignment with PMI best practices and organizational standards. Qualifications 8+ years of experience
as a Project Controls Manager (or most recent/second most recent title). 15–20 years of experience
in capital projects, with progression through risk management, estimating, cost, and scheduling roles. Proven experience working within the
Stage Gate process . Proficiency with
Primavera P6 ; additional tools such as SAP preferred. Strong background in LNG or Combined Cycle projects. Member of the
Project Management Institute (PMI)
or equivalent certifications preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. We offer medical insurance, vision insurance, and other benefits.
