Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Project Controls Manager
with a strong background in
LNG or Combined Cycle projects . In this contract role, you will oversee project controls functions across cost, schedule, and risk to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and on budget. This position requires strong analytical and technical writing skills, a solid understanding of the Stage Gate process, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams. This position will be
based on site (5 days per week)
with an option to work
9/80s , and will require
initial travel to The Woodlands, TX
before mobilizing to the assigned project site outside
Little Rock, AR . Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of
project controls strategies
for cost, scheduling, and risk management. Apply the
Stage Gate process
to ensure deliverables are reviewed, complete, and compliant prior to advancing project phases. Develop and maintain project schedules using
Primavera P6 , perform progress updates, critical path analysis, and forecasting. Provide integrated performance analysis across cost, schedule, and risk data to drive executive reporting and project insights. Prepare
technical reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions. Facilitate change order reviews, risk workshops, and contingency planning meetings. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and
PMI best practices . Qualifications
10+ years
of experience in project controls, including cost, scheduling, and risk roles. Strong background in
LNG or Combined Cycle power generation
projects. Proven experience within the
Stage Gate process . Proficiency in
Primavera P6 ; experience with SAP or similar tools preferred. Demonstrated
technical writing experience , including formal reporting and analytical documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred. Details
