Overview

Due to growth Satterfield and Pontikes Construction is adding a Project Controls Manager to our corporate team in Houston. This is a senior position that supports the company’s responsibility for the development, monitoring and analysis of project controls. For more information call Lance at 832-919-3139. Responsibilities

Oversight of the S&P standards on scheduling and analysis practices. Oversight and teaching classes on: Scheduling, Cost Management, Resource Management, Risk Management, Delay Claims. Oversight of the timely and accurate updating of project schedules and their analysis. Oversight of the timely and accurate reporting of the quality and status of actual performance of project schedules on topics like: Revenue Forecasting, Resource Forecasting, Earn Value calculations, Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, Risk Assessments, Delay Claims. Oversee the presentation of schedule performance data at the “Third Point Review” meeting. Oversee Resource loading and analysis of data into schedules as required – Primavera. Oversee Cost loading and analysis of data into schedules as required – Primavera. Oversee professional working relationships with project staff regarding project scheduling. Oversee the development of bid proposal schedules illustrating the sequence of work activities and contract time. Oversee the development of Baseline Schedules and the overall CPM schedule, coordinating with the Project Manager, Superintendent and procurement schedule with the Project Engineer. Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of the quality of schedule reflection files. Be the schedule technical advisor for the solution of project schedule problems. Oversee Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine impact on master schedule, and help formulate actions to correct scheduling problems. Oversee the development of delay claim impacts and recovery schedules as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. 20+ years of project experience. 15 years (minimum) of experience in scheduling using P3/P6. Experience in construction projects and a thorough knowledge of contract documents and scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures. Certifications – Preferred
