Global Product Manager – High-Speed Interconnect Products
Molex is hiring a Global Product Manager for High-Speed Interconnect Products in our Datacom division. In this highly visible role you will lead the development and management of our high‑speed interconnect product portfolio, focused on silicon protocols at 112G and 224G speeds. Your strategic vision will drive the product roadmap and keep our offerings at the forefront of the industry.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the high‑speed interconnect product strategy, including product roadmap, pricing, and positioning.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Develop marketing collateral to promote new technologies, build industry partnerships, and expand market penetration.
Define product requirements based on customer feedback, market demands, and technological advancements.
Increase pipeline growth, customer wins, and product releases while ensuring profitable growth.
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to less experienced team members.
Interface with cross‑functional teams—product design engineering, signal integrity, manufacturing integration, program management, sales, and senior leadership—to drive product success.
Monitor product performance and market trends, recommending enhancements or portfolio adjustments as needed.
Drive product launches, including go‑to‑market strategies, sales enablement, and marketing collateral development.
Track the competitive landscape and establish the technology roadmap.
Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Travel globally to visit customers, manufacturing sites, and meet the team.
Ensure timely and on‑budget delivery of development projects.
Foster One Molex Team culture through team building and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum 2+ years of sales experience calling on Datacom accounts.
Minimum 5+ years of experience within the high‑speed Datacom market.
Previous experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role focused on high‑speed interconnect products.
Ability to travel globally.
Experience with silicon protocols at 112G and 224G is a strong plus.
Proven track record of managing and launching complex, high‑speed interconnect products.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills and experience prioritizing multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience with SAP, contract manufacturing negotiations, and electronics OEM relations is a plus.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience in negotiating with contract manufacturers and electronics market OEMs.
Compensation For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
