As a key part of the integrated design build team, the Project Manager for the EPC Team works to drive high quality, efficient and quick engineering, estimating, contracting, and execution of utility scale solar and BESS energy projects in California. The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the successful completion of a utility scale solar + BESS project. The Project Manager ensures the project is completed in a safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner. The Project Manager is the primary responsible individual for managing all project activities from the pre-construction stage through commercial operation and leads the client management responsibility. CSI joined the MYR Group family in July 2019 and delivers electrical design, construction, and energy solutions for commercial and industrial projects. Essential Functions

Ensures the project establishes a safety program and culture that is positive, respectful, and proactive at the project. Works with the Project Safety Team to continually review and improve the safety program. Ensures the Project Execution Plan (PEP) is developed and implemented, trained, and proactively managed by the Construction Site Manager to prevent quality defects and to provide a safe and efficient workplace. Develops and manages the client relationship during the project lifecycle with the goal of collaborating, serving, and building a mutual and trusting relationship. Proactively shares project status and proposes solutions to the client. Leads upfront planning of the project and manages the development and adherence to the project schedule including engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. Ensures effective meetings and review of metrics and KPIs to understand actuals versus planned and productivity. Scenario planning, develops alternative work plans, and helps the team overcome schedule constraints. Develops and staffs the project organizational chart and ensures adequate resources to meet schedule and budget. Manages and owns all financial aspects of the project, coordinates with Project Controls, and ensures the team actively manages against budget. Facilitates transition of the estimate from business development to construction. Establishes and owns the budget, cashflow, payment structure, and invoicing process. Provides monthly project forecasting of financial conditions. Ensures receivables are collected according to terms and payables to suppliers are managed. Leads the change management process with client, vendors, and subcontractors. Manages and controls the administration of the contract between CSI and the client, as well as major supplier agreements, ensuring adherence by the project team. Promotes growth and skill development of the project team on and off the project. Leads closeout with focus on project metrics, lessons learned, and recommendations for future projects. Communicates with leadership on overall project status and needs for safety, quality, schedule, risks, opportunities, and financials. Coordinates with purchasing to ensure quality and timely delivery of all material and equipment to the project site. Troubleshoots issues as they arise, evaluates alternatives, proposes solutions, and gains team buy-in. Makes recommendations to leadership to improve safety, quality, and profitability. Makes independent decisions to improve project well-being and team performance. Ensures observance of corporate policies and objectives. Qualifications

About You

The Project Manager preferably has a B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field and/or equivalent experience. 5+ years in construction with 3+ years of self-perform construction experience; experience in utility-scale solar projects required. LEED AP is recommended. Cal OSHA 30-hour Construction training certification is required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Database experience is a plus. Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software. Demonstrated experience in Construction Management and leadership. Proactive attitude and initiative; strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing requirements; travel on site during construction is required. Strong understanding of solar industry practices and project management techniques. Physical Demands

Frequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces; may sit or stand for long periods. May stoop, bend, and crouch. Work Environment

On-site work as needed; variable weather conditions; areas with high noise levels and potentially hazardous chemicals. What We Offer

Compensation & Benefits
