Joining us as a
Multi-Unit Team Leader , you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. Using your people management experience and passion for helping people, you’ll provide leadership to the customer-centric teams in the offices you manage to accelerate their seasonal tax business. You’ll serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office related growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to full-time, including evening and weekend hours as needed. Please note that this role is not remote and will require you to work in-person. Responsibilities
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with Associate Relations Center to resolve associate issues and address performance concerns Build an engaging team environment across all offices by training and coaching associates Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment What you'll bring to the team
Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or related industry Ability to manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the DGM to create growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Strong coaching and performance management capabilities Ability to lead daily team meetings and communicate effectively Experience with scheduling and labor management across multiple locations Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed, after completing the required tax training Your Expertise
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset Computer proficiency with MS Office Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Why work for us

Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive plans and benefits as described by HR Block policy.
