Multi-Unit Team Leader , you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate their seasonal tax business. This role starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transitions to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote. What you’ll do
Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across three offices, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives. Provide supervision of office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across all offices by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for associates in all offices. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring to the team
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs described below. Pay Range $15.00 - $40.00/Hr.
