Role Purpose:
The Finance & Administration Manager ensures the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and people support of Potato Corner USA. The role provides leadership over finance operations—including controllership, reporting, and compliance—while managing HR administration through Paychex, coordinating closely with Corp HR, and overseeing office administration to support a productive workplace. In addition, the role serves as liaison with Supply Chain, IT, and Marketing partners in the Philippines and the US, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment across functions to enable sustainable growth of the U.S. business. Key Responsibilities
Finance Oversight
Lead the finance function, overseeing a Controller role responsible for accounting, payroll, tax, and compliance. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP as supported by the Philippine Shared Services accounting function. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to ensure compliance. Implement internal controls and policies that safeguard company assets. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support strategic growth. Administrative & HR Support (via Paychex & Corporate HR Coordination)
Manage HR administration including payroll, benefits, and employee records in coordination with Paychex. Provide guidance on HR compliance (federal and state laws, California labor standards) as supported by the Corporate HR in the Philippines. Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle support. Partner with
Corp HR (SPAVI HQ)
to align on compensation policies, benefits, training, employee engagement, and succession planning. Support the roll-out of Corp HR programs and ensure consistent application in the U.S. market. Ensure accurate and timely submission of HR-related reports to Corp HR. Oversee
office administration , including facilities management, vendor contracts, office supplies, utilities, and general administrative services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as a key liaison with Supply Chain, IT, and Marketing partners between the Philippines and the US to ensure aligned operations and reporting. Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on vendor payments, inventory cost tracking, and importation financial controls. Partner with IT on system integration, ERP/payroll/payables automation, and reporting enhancements. Work with Marketing partners in PH on budget allocation, vendor payments, and ROI tracking for brand campaigns. Leadership & People Management
Supervise the Finance and Admin Support roles within the team, ensuring clear deliverables and capability building. Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration across functions. Provide training, mentorship, and performance reviews to direct reports. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Metrics

Accuracy of Financial Reporting:
100% compliance with U.S. GAAP and audit requirements; ≤2% variance between forecast and actuals. Cash Flow Management:
Maintain positive cash flow with variance ≤5% from forecast. Timeliness:
Monthly closing completed within 5 business days as supported by the PH Shared Services Accounting. Cost Control:
Achieve annual expense savings targets (e.g., 3–5% cost efficiency vs. prior year). Audit & Tax Compliance:
Zero major audit findings or regulatory penalties. HR & Administration
Payroll Accuracy & Compliance
– 100% accurate and on-time payroll processing via Paychex; zero compliance violations. Corp HR & Office Administration Coordination

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA/MBA preferred). Minimum 7–10 years’ US experience in finance and administration, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience with HR systems (preferably Paychex or ADP) and payroll administration. Proven ability to coordinate with cross-border teams and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in retail, food service, or franchise business models preferred. Financial Acumen
