Responsibilities

Develop sales forecast with Business, Product Line and Marketing leaders

Lead the Demand portion of the S&OP process to align all stakeholders on next 12-18 months plans

Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

Facilitate demand planning meetings and strive to achieve consensus with Product Management, Sales and Demand Planning.

Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

Define and implement metrics to measure planning performance

Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP system

Implement and improve planning processes and systems

Improve the customer experience

Manage multiple complex projects

Routinely interact with internal and external customers

Align Demand Plan processes to improve forecast accuracy

Interact with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure priorities are set and aligned to meet customer on-time deliveries

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field

Minimum Experience & Requirements

At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain demand planning and continuous improvement initiatives with relevant software applications.

Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.

Experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required.

Master’s degree with specialization in Supply Chain or Operations

Project Management, APICS, or other related certification

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
