GENERAL FUNCTION The Sr. Demand Planner supports the growth & profitability of the North America Wholesale division by developing accurate demand forecasts at the customer, brand, & SKU levels. This role blends quantitative & qualitative analysis to guide supply planning & ensure high service levels. The planner collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Service, Planning, & Supply Chain to drive inventory efficiency & aligned decision-making.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop & maintain demand plans at the customer, brand, & SKU levels for production & supply planning
Analyze historical sales, trends, seasonality, & demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy
Present forecasts & insights at customer & brand levels to support business decisions
Monitor & report on KPIs across products & accounts
Use statistical models & planning tools to generate accurate forecasts & reports
Collaborate across teams (Sales, Marketing, Brand, Product, Sales Ops, GTM, Planning, Supply Chain, NPI, Finance) to review business at customer/channel/brand levels
Develop & manage fill rate & forecast error metrics; share updates with internal/external stakeholders
Run weekly order tracking reports & review backorder status; communicate recovery actions
Coordinate with inventory locations to improve order fulfillment & supply efficiency
Provide ad hoc analysis to support supply chain & business decisions
Create leadership-ready presentations, reports, & communications with clear narratives
Lead forecast meetings with internal teams or customers to align demand & business plans
Balance supply requests with financial plans; make informed procurement & planning decisions
Support & develop one indirect report; assess skills & contribute to training initiatives
Co-lead training sessions for new & existing demand planners
Identify best practices & support continuous improvement of tools & processes
Understand replenishment vs. NPI performance & business implications
Build end-to-end understanding of supply chain models to improve planning & communication
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field
5+ years in demand planning or related role
Strong analytical & quantitative skills with proven ability to generate data-driven insights
Advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, IF statements) & PowerPoint skills
Proficient in MS Office & SAP; experience with planning software
Experience working with enterprise systems & multi-source data
Ability to build & manipulate queries & access database reports
Strong communication, collaboration, & influencing skills
Proven decision-making ability in fast-paced environments
Agile mindset & ability to learn complex data relationships quickly
Knowledge of fashion sales cycles & seasonal buying patterns
Experience leading meetings & engaging cross-functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in fashion & accessories industry
Training, mentoring, or leadership background
Understanding of order management cycles
SAP AFS1 & DPM planning experience
Familiarity with SAP Business Objects or similar BI/reporting tools
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
Programming skills (e.g., Python, Visual Basic, DAX)
Pay Range: 69,966.40-97,740.80
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
