Position assists the interventional radiologist, cardiologist, vascular surgeon or other physicians as assigned, in the performance of minimally invasive and invasive fluoroscopic guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Procedures consist of complex vascular and non‑vascular procedures including cardiovascular, electrophysiology, endovascular, and neurological interventions. The technologist is responsible for pre‑procedural set up, operating various radiology and support equipment, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure. The technologist is responsible for image archive management and appropriate documentation for the purpose of supply management, billing and procedural documentation. The technologist assumes responsibility for ancillary tasks/duties associated with the delivery of high quality, safe, cost efficient patient care. The technologist assists attending physicians, fellows, clinical nurses, and CVTs with all aspects of the procedure. By the nature of this position, the technologist has access to medications and contract solutions associated with the delivery of direct patient care. He/she participates in the training of less senior Radiologic Technologists and students.

Assist attending physicians, fellows, clinical nurses, and CVTs with all aspects of the procedure.
Pre‑procedural set up, operating various radiology and support equipment, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
Image archive management, appropriate documentation for billing and procedural documentation.
Maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment.
Assist with training less senior Radiologic Technologists and students.
Access to medications and contract solutions associated with the delivery of direct patient care.
Qualifications
Current BLS certification, CRT license/certification, CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluroscopy permit, Advanced ARRT Certification in Cardiac and/or Vascular Interventional Radiography, ARRT license/certification, ACLS certification upon hire.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience as a Radiology Technologist in a Cardiac Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular and EP Lab.
Must support the academic nature of the organization engaging in and supporting the teaching role and research.
Must maintain a high level of decorum to maintain the collegial team approach needed to operate in this environment.
Must be available to work evenings, nights and/or weekends, on‑call assignments or alternate work schedules.
Preferred: Knowledge and practice of hemodynamic monitoring, EKG and pressure waveforms; experience with Microsoft Office Suite; experience in a Hybrid Operating Room Setting; experience with electrophysiology procedures; experience in a wide array of interventional technology and possible applications; Bilingual; Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Science; Pediatric Advanced Life Supp Education; Total Compensation.
