Overview
We are looking for a
Certified Veterinary Technician
to join our expanding team and help us provide exceptional experiences. By joining our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 individuals, continuing education allowances, and learning and development programs to support you in achieving your career goals. Our ideal candidate
is/has: Certified in the state of Utah or can transfer license between states. Proficient in venipuncture and surgical monitoring and anesthesia. At least 2 years of experience. Position Skills
Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis Position Requirements
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state Associate\'s degree in Veterinary Technology Ready to help us, WAG?
