Overview Otolaryngology – The full-time Audiologist will be responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests; hearing aid dispensing (testing, fitting, and selection); and hearing (re)habilitation services for patients of all ages. The incumbent is independently responsible for basic diagnostic and rehabilitative services and will perform ABR, OAE, ENG and ECHOG testing as well as fit and dispense hearing aids.

Responsibilities

Administer diagnostic audiological tests and hearing (re)habilitation services for patients of all ages.

Perform ABR, OAE, ENG and ECHOG testing.

Test, fit, and dispense hearing aids; provide amplification services and patient counseling.

Operate and maintain Audiologic equipment; ensure accurate testing and interpretation of results.

Collaborate with physicians and staff in a fast-paced clinic; communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

Strong interpersonal, analytical, and service-oriented skills; active listening; attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Effective verbal and written communication; sound judgment and decision making; ability to develop original ideas to solve problems.

Ability to function as a team member; computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word).

Masters degree in Audiology; AuD; licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dispensing Audiologist within California (CA Audiology License).

1 year post-externship clinical experience with both adult and pediatric populations.

Preferred:

Comprehensive knowledge of Audiology services across all ages; diagnostic audiometry, ENGs, ABRs; selection and interpretation of tools; referral and follow-up.

Amplification services including hearing assessment, fitting, real ear measurements, and assistive listening devices; patient counseling; equipment management.

Experience with implantable hearing aids and cochlear implants; parent and community outreach and education.

Ability to operate audiologic equipment; familiarity with analog and digital hearing instruments; strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
