Overview
Otolaryngology Associates of Tennessee and Physicians Hearing Aid Center is currently seeking a full-time Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated and passionate about guiding patients along their journey toward better hearing and balance health. We are committed to excellent patient care and are looking for candidates who embody our core values. Candidates must be able to obtain TN state licensure to join our practice. OAT has been providing a compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered model for otolaryngology and audiology in the heart of Music City for 80 years. Our office has 9 audiologists, 9 otolaryngologists, 3 nurse practitioners & 2 physician assistants that provide services at 2 busy practice locations including 2 medical offices, 1 balance center and 2 private hearing aid centers in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee. Our audiologists are well respected by our physicians and enjoy all the practice benefits of working in a private clinical setting with the support of an extensive audiology group with strong leadership and mentoring experience. We administer a wide variety of audiology services for all ages including diagnostic audiologic assessments, electrophysiology testing (ABR, OAE and ECoG) and diagnostic vestibular assessment (VNG, vHIT, oVEMP, cVEMP, SHIMP), hearing device dispensing (selection, fitting, troubleshooting, verification and validation), osseointegrated implants, cochlear implants (evaluation, activation, mapping, and troubleshooting) and rehabilitative services. Other areas of focus include tinnitus management, cerumen management, custom in-ear monitors, custom hunter, industrial and recreational hearing protection, business development, and marketing. Qualifications
Masters in Audiology required, Au.D. preferred Tennessee Audiology License required Vestibular experience preferred Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and ability to use NOAH Proficiency documenting in Electronic Medical Records (Modernizing Medicine & Blueprint ideal but not required) Ability to communicate professionally (written and verbal) Clinical Competencies
Ability to operate appropriate Audiology equipment to perform hearing and balance assessments Staying versed in the advancements of audiological software and amplification/assistive listening device technologies Travel
Ability to travel between Nashville and Franklin for staffing of different clinical sites. Accountability
