Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner job with OSF HealthCare System/OSF Medical Group in Peoria, IL. Busy urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to serve a well-established practice with a growing patient base. Responsibilities
Provide urgent care services in a busy clinic setting as part of a team that includes APPs and physicians. Work in a prompt care clinic with daily hours 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. Typical shifts are twelve hours, three times per week, with opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired. Maintain excellent work/life balance with no on-call, no after-hours, and no required follow-up. Benefits & Perks
Paid occurrence-based malpractice Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-68.10 per hour (hourly position) Other compensation components may include bonuses or incentives; range shown is an estimate and may be impacted by factors such as experience, qualifications, community need, and position criticality. Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Employment Details
