Overview
Busy urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to serve our well-established practice with a growing patient base. Practice model includes a combination of APPs and physicians. Prompt care clinic hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. A typical shift would be twelve hours, three times a week. There are also opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired. Excellent work/life balance with no call, no afterhours and no follow-up.
Responsibilities and Schedule Clinical duties include urgent care responsibilities within a mixed APP/physician team. No explicit list of daily tasks was provided beyond the general practice description above; responsibilities align with urgent care APP duties in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
