We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, producing high-quality images, and evaluating the quality of images. Benefits of this role include: Day-1 Benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 403B retirement, and more Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO), up to 18 days in the first year Competency-based increases $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Tuition reimbursement Schedule and hours: Full-time, 32 hours per week Days, mostly 9-hour shifts Responsibilities: Prepare patients for CT scans by establishing necessary intravenous medications and administering oral and/or IV contrast media Produce computerized tomography scans by entering patient data, programming the scanner, and using the power injector Evaluate the quality of images and films Utilize radiation protection devices and protocols, and infection control policies and procedures Schedule and charge patients, retrieve films, and facilitate physician/patient inquiries Explain exams and procedures, and acquire patient history Monitor the safety and comfort of patients during exams Requirements: Completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Technology program Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Maintenance of continuing education credits to retain registry status Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment, radiation physics, and radiation protection One year of work experience in general diagnostic radiology Certification or re-certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform push/pull tasks We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
