CT Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging Job Summary
Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues in compliance with proper safety procedures and protocols. The incumbent interprets a physician's scanning instructions, administers contrast materials, prepares and operates the CT scan equipment and positions the patient to capture the appropriate images. Responsibilities
Maneuvers equipment and patients to capture accurate imaging. Provides basic patient care and ensures patient comfort and protection from radiation sources. Submits accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charging. Supports department initiatives related to patient and employee satisfaction. Performs technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity. Maintains CT skills current and demonstrates continuing education through department meetings and individualized learning opportunities. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross-sectional anatomy. Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) – Registered Technologist (RTR). Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR). Medical Radiographer: WA (MRAD:WA). Pay
$42.78 - $64.56 /hour Location
