Community Veterinary Partners . City Line Veterinary Center serves the families of Moline, East Moline, Rock Island and surrounding Quad Cities areas with exceptional veterinary care. We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead financial and operational performance and to motivate the team to provide excellent client and patient experiences. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Human Resources

Administrate all human resource functions including staff recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, and terminations. Manage annual performance evaluations; responsible for evaluations for supervised staff with the assistance of the department lead. Implement and maintain Employee Safety and Disaster Plan procedures and manuals. Ensure compliance with OSHA and Workers’ Compensation programs. Distribute necessary communications with staff, including policy changes, meeting information, and client feedback. Mediate personnel grievances, documenting reprimands and counseling meetings. Operations

Keep CVP management informed of issues regarding staff, clients, premises or equipment needs. Respond to client concerns promptly and appropriately; resolve medical client complaints in partnership with the Lead Veterinarian and RDO. Implement marketing activities in partnership with CVP and the Lead Veterinarian. Ensure premises, physical plant and equipment are safe, clean, and in optimum working condition, including scheduling regular maintenance. Ensure regulatory compliance including radiation monitoring, business permits and licenses, and animal control ordinances. Maintain and update client education handouts as needed. Oversee inventory purchasing and management within budget guidelines. Schedule and attend required meetings, including staff meetings and hospital leadership team meetings. Administer the hospital’s patient reminder system. Oversee implementation of client wellness programs and monitor compliance in partnership with CVP. Monitor hospital email and manage the hospital practice management system. Marketing

Monitor, implement, and evaluate client communications (direct mail, signage, social media). Ensure marquee updates with timely messages. Lead development of referral relationships with humane societies, pet stores, etc. Attend community events to build the potential client base. Financial

Participate in yearly budgeting, monthly P&L reviews, and discuss weekly financial reports with the lead doctor; monitor financial progress and adjust to meet budget goals. Partner with RDO to submit capital expense requests per CVP guidelines. Verify accuracy of vendor statements and match invoices accordingly. Prepare the weekly CVP Business Package. Manage the bi-weekly payroll process. Oversee daily cash handling, deposits, and local banking relationships. In addition, the Practice Manager may work scheduled shifts providing client service and/or direct patient care as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities

The Practice Manager is responsible for managing all hospital team members. Required Education & Experience

4+ years of hospital management experience. College preferred. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Certification in Veterinary Practice Management preferred. About CVP
