This is a CT Technologist position on a 12-hour shift, 3 days per week, from 18:30 to 07:00, total of 36 hours per week. BLS Certification required. 2 professional references. All-inclusive hourly pay rate is $63.55/hr, consisting of a taxable component of $49.72/hr and a per diem of $13.83/hr. Only travelers staying more than 60 miles from the facility will be considered. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) (note: ensure accuracy of the abbreviation in original content) Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Active unencumbered CT Technologist Michigan state license Graduate from a fully accredited CT Technologist program One year of work experience as CT Technologist One year of EMR experience Board Certified ARRT Certification Skills/Abilities/Competencies
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills Participates in continuing education programs Commitment to high-quality patient care and service excellence Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and interact with physicians, managers, and staff Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational skills, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks Requirements

Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients\' internal organs and tissues Positioning patients appropriately for scans Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong X-ray tube life Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety Interpreting doctors\' scanning instructions Administering radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues Evaluating CT scans for technical quality Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance as needed
